A Few Fast Facts

Before I get into the more complicated results, I'd like to share a few interesting statistics from the 2009 Working on a Dream Tour*.

The tour started on March 23,2009 in Asbury Park, NJ and ended on November 22, 2009 in Buffalo, NY.

Springsteen and the ESB played:

85 Concerts
at 64 different venues
in 16 countries
and in 24 different states.

Any frequent Springsteen concert-goer knows its impossible to predict the setlist of an E. Street Band concert.  They are famous for constantly changing up their songs and including just as many obscure songs as mainstream hits.

On the 2009 tour, Bruce Springsteen and the E. Street Band played:

2312 songs (that averages of 27 songs per concert).

That included 194 distinct songs.  Of those songs, there were 124 different Springsteen songs, and 70 covers of songs written by other arists.

Additionally, they played songs from nearly their entire catalog, including songs from 15 different albums**.

*Data was compiled from http://www.brucespringsteen.net/live/2009setlists.html.  This data does not include private concerts or special events (such as the Super Bowl, and November 2009 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame show).

**Only counting regular albums, not compliations, releases of live concerts, or greatist hits collections.  Devils and Dust was the only album to not have a song played during the 2009 tour.
